Legal
Privacy
The short version: this site does not track you, does not set advertising cookies, and only keeps what you type into a form so that someone can reply to it.
What we collect
If you send a booking enquiry, we keep the name, email address, phone number and message you typed. That is used to reply to you and to keep a record of the booking. It is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone for marketing.
Visitor statistics
We count page views so we know which poems people read. It is cookieless: no cookie is set on your device, no advertising profile is built, and no IP address is stored — the counter derives a rotating daily hash instead, which cannot be traced back to you. Because nothing is stored on your device, this site does not need a cookie banner, and does not have one.
Video
Readings are hosted on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. YouTube videos on this site do not load until you click play, and when they do they load from youtube-nocookie.com — so nothing from Google reaches your browser unless you choose to watch something. Instagram and TikTok pieces are plain links, so nothing from either loads here at all.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to Booking@lifetry.com and it will be dealt with.
